As a follow-up to the front page of the month, the image of January comes from the Gaye collection where many photographs of Théodore Guitard du Marès, amateur photographer of Gironde origin and more precisely of the Entre-deux-Mers, are gathered.

We are here in Poitiers, in the park of Blossac, around 1900. Near the bandstand are two men, one of whom is on a bicycle. A popular place for pictians, the park was laid out in the 18th century, on the site of an ancient necropolis.
